I've been thinking a lot lately about the tax hikes that the Obama Administration is putting on the non-lazy successful American class (those who make over 250k a year) and I think I've come up with a way to
describe not only how wrong this is, but also a way for you to be as angry as you should be by using WoW as an example of how messed up it is. Now, I realize most of you don't have any idea what really goes on in America and a lot of you think you don't care because it doesn't "affect" you, but it does. So I'm going to give you a brief
overview of what's going on before I do the WoW analogy.
In order for the US Government to pay for its conquest of nationalizing the banks and other big companies it also has a huge budget allotted for 2009 that they simply do not collect enough revenue for. Their solution to this is to raise taxes on 5% of the population who have worked hard and are very successful. This is outrageous that because someone works harder or smarter than others they have to pay for everyone else, it takes away the incentive to not only do better in life and earn more money, but also gets people used to taking hand outs or wellfare (beggers in World of Warcraft). When 95% of the population is given wellfare via tax credits or tax deductions or straight up government money they become accustomed to this and since its 95% of the population its easy to elect another corrupt person into government who wants to redistribute wealth. This is why we end up with the wellfare moms who raise 18 kids and never have to work a day in their life, there's
just no incentive too. You and I pick up her tab and the government gives her enough money to live off comfortably. She also has full health insurance which most of the low income workers in America don't even have. So you're here working being responsible and a productive member of society, paying for her medical bills and food stamps, and you don't even have health insurance yourself.
